1995年，世界貿(mào)易組織成立，“全球經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化”新篇章正式開啟。
The World Trade Organization officially came into being in 1995, opening a new chapter in global economic integration.

也是這一年，首屆《財富》全球論壇舉辦，全球政商巨頭齊聚新加坡，探討世界經(jīng)濟(jì)趨勢。
Also in this year, the first Fortune Global Forum was convened in Singapore, where the world’s political and business leaders rendezvoused to discuss world economic trends.

《財富》全球論壇，從此開始記錄世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展軌跡。
Since then, Fortune Global Forum has kept abreast of the economic development track worldwide.

You may not be aware that one of every two notebook computers in the world now has its chips made in Chengdu, or that the iPad you use probably has something to do with Chengdu also, as more than half of iPads on the globe come from Chengdu.
